Winamp supports playback of Windows Media Video and Nullsoft Streaming Video, as well as most of the video formats supported by Windows Media Player. 5.1 Surround sound is supported where formats and decoders allow.

The Cubase SX 2 upgrade box arrived right in time when I was getting ready to record and finish a song Ive been working on. At the moment the song is still in MIDI sequence format outside of the computer: an AKAI MPC 1000 is sequencing some internal drums, as well as the rest of the instruments: some Cello as well as some Violin and Piano loaded in a trusty EMU E5000 Ultra rack sampler, and finally a home-made Creamware SCOPE Minimax bass patch.
